Hello! I have a question for the computer inclined guys around here. Is there a way to download the all custom levels from a page at the same time? (I'm talking about the levels uploaded by the users at http://grubbygamesfiles.com/pf_levels/. I'd like to have them all, but opening a page for each one and individually downloading seems a pain for 1000+ levels. Perhaps somebody knows a program or browser add-on or something that could make the job easier....

Thanks!

I know that one of our mods put the PFMM levels in zip files, but I am not sure if that was done for the original PF levels.

Unfortunately it hasn't by my knowledge, I only got the "free extras" collections.
I'm trying to mirror that part of the site at the moment using HTTrack and to rename the .php files into .lvl, but I tried to use filters to download only the .php files and I've been so far unsuccessful. More specifically, I could only download all the .php files from a single page at once, which combined with all the hassle to set up the mirroring program for every one of the 60 pages makes it a non lucrative solution. Still trying...

The original PF download levels did have ZIP files (at least the early ones).
Sometime (probably about a year) before PFMM was avaliable the whole forum was shut down and everything on the original forum was gone.

I think 'minmay' was the Mod that did the Zip files, perhaps if you 'PM' him you can find out if they are available.

Another source of the some of the PF download levels was on the disk (CD) "FizzPack! Collector's Edition"
I have one of the first made (recieved as a prize from Grubby)
The levels are in a folder called Extras\Levels\PF Levels (there are about 1000).

For some reason the filenames are PFMM#.lvl , They are PF levels not PFMM (perhaps this was fixed later)
The # is from 1 to 1079 (some skipped) and seems to match the php?id=# on the download page.

I tried to follow the link to buy this CD however the page doesn't seem to be there any more so I don't know if it can still be obtained. Confused

I don't have those zip files anymore, no.

However, there is a Firefox extension for downloading many files at once. I don't know if the filters will actually let you only select the levels (the download links aren't 100% direct, i.e. you can't just filter ".lvl"), but you can always just download every link then delete all the webpages from your PF levels folder when you're done.
